A well-established, internationally operating media business is looking for a Senior Reporter to produce high-quality content focused on the finance and lending space.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be covering industry developments, breaking news, and producing engaging features for a professional audience. If you're curious, well-connected (or eager to be), and enjoy being at the forefront of industry conversations — this could be your next move.
What You’ll Be Doing
Writing timely, accurate news stories and in-depth feature content
Identifying exclusive angles and developing original story ideas
Monitoring industry trends, regulatory updates, and market activity
Creating engaging headlines and optimising content for digital performance
Contributing to newsletters, social media, and daily publishing schedules
Building relationships with key industry professionals and sources
Attending and reporting on events, conferences, and roundtables
Supporting multimedia content including video, podcasts, and interviews
Collaborating with internal teams on content and campaign initiatives
Using analytics tools to track performance and improve content reach
What You’ll Bring
Experience in journalism, ideally within financial services or business reporting
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent news judgment and ability to spot impactful stories
Understanding of digital publishing, SEO, and audience engagement
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Confidence building relationships with industry professionals
Strong organisational and communication skills
Interest xwzovoh in multimedia content (video, audio, events) is a plus
Success in This Role
Success will be measured by the quality and consistency of content, audience engagement, ability to break stories, and contribution to overall publication growth and reputation.
