User Researcher - Remote/UK - £400.00 Per Day Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a government digital delivery team. You will plan, conduct, and analyse user research to ensure services are built around real user needs and meet the GDS Service Standard. Working closely with designers, product teams, and policy colleagues, you will help shape services that are simple, accessible, and effective for all users.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience conducting user research for digital services.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working with the GOV.UK Design System and delivering services aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
- Experience working on data-focused, digital transformation or AI-related projects
- Experience working with machine learning, AI-augmented tools, or data-heavy platforms.
- Ability to choose appropriate research methods and justify decisions.
- Skilled in synthesising complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills. xwzovoh
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
