- £33,000 Benefits We're partnering with a well-established, growing freight forwarding business that is looking to strengthen its import operations team with an experienced Import Coordinator This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive team within a company that has built a strong reputation in international logistics, particularly across Asia trade lanes.

95%), managing shipments from start to finish across key routes including China, India, and Southeast Asia.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient movement of goods while delivering a high level of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities Managing end-to-end import shipments (sea freight bias) Handling and processing pre-alerts from overseas agents Coordinating with shipping lines, hauliers, and internal teams Overseeing documentation and shipment progress Supporting customs processes (in-house customs team in place; knowledge beneficial but not essential) Completing invoicing and file closure accurately Ensuring excellent communication with customers and partners Note: This role is operationally focused-no quoting or sales responsibilities.
What We're Looking For Experience in import freight forwarding (sea freight preferred) Strong understanding of end-to-end operations Familiarity with Asia trade lanes (China/India/Southeast Asia advantageous) Confident handling documentation and shipment coordination Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple files Experience with multi-freight systems/software The Team & Environment Join a team of 5 within operations, part of a wider team of around 16 Friendly, collaborative office environment with strong internal support Opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues across all areas of freight WR Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
