HGV Class 1 Driver – Warrington Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client’s busy Warrington depot. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work with competitive PAYE rates and a respected logistics partner. What you’ll be doing as a HGV Class 1 Driver: Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved Completing night trunking runs as part of a professional logistics operation What we’re looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver: Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) The details of the HGV Class 1 Driver role: Shifts: Monday to Sunday (weekend availability needed) Start times: Various Shift length: Typically 10–12 hours Pay rates: From £19.98 to £22.89 per hour (PAYE) Contract type: Regular, ongoing work with consistent start times If you’re a reliable, safety-focused HGV Class 1 Driver looking for stable night work with a trusted employer, apply now to join the Pertemps driving team
