Shift Pattern: Continental Shift | 4 on 4 off | 6am6pm
Employment Type: Permanent

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a site-based engineering team within a critical environment. This role involves carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring all systems and equipment operate safely, reliably, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Fault finding and repair of mechanical or electrical systems
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
  • Accurate completion of maintenance documentation
  • Support site reliability and uptime within a critical environment
  • Work effectively as part of a shift-based engineering team
Salary & Benefits
  • Starting salary: £47,500
  • Rises to £50,000 upon successful completion of a technical assessment (approx. xwzovoh 6 months)

Security & Eligibility Requirements

Due to the nature of the site, candidates must:

  • Have been a UK resident for at least 5 years
  • Be able to successfully pass BPSS and SC clearance
About You
  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering background
  • Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Comfortable working a continental shift pattern
  • Experience in a critical or high-compliance environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
