Material Handler

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently.

This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.

Operate forklifts ( Counterbalance
- B1 & B2 ) and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Prepare materials for storage or shipment as required.

Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly.

Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.

Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in material handling processes.

Experience Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is highly desirable.

Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a must
- Counterbalance Licences.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.

Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
