Class 2 Driver

We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:Friday to Monday typically starts between 2am- 12pm Pay Rate: Nights
- £16.65 per hour PAYE Days
- £15.09 per hour PAYE Location:Southampton, SO16 9JX Job Type:Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role: Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

Some deliveries/ returns from addresses Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Excellent communication skills.
