Deputy Manager Childrens Residential Home Croydon CR0 3DN & SW16 4BD £40,000 £45,000 per annum Full-Time | 44 Hours Per Week We are recruiting for two Deputy Managers to support the launch and day-to-day leadership of newly opening childrens residential homes in South London.

These homes support children aged 617 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), providing therapeutic and nurturing environments where young people can feel safe, supported, and empowered.
The Role As Deputy Manager, you will work closely alongside the Registered Manager to support the leadership of the home, supervise staff, maintain high standards of care, and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Youll play a key role in safeguarding, staff development, care planning, and delivering positive outcomes for young people.
Shift patterns include: Long Days: 8:00am 8:30pm Admin Days: 9:00am 5:00pm Includes weekends and rota-based flexibility Key Responsibilities Support the leadership and management of the home Supervise and guide residential care staff Maintain accurate records and care documentation Lead on safeguarding and professional meetings Support Ofsted inspections and compliance Step up in the absence of the Registered Manager Participate in on-call duties Requirements Minimum 1 years experience as a Deputy Manager OR 2 years as a Senior Residential Support Worker Experience within childrens residential care xwzovoh Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively Full flexibility for rota-based shifts Whats on Offer Salary up to £45,000 Career progression opportunities Supportive management structure Ongoing training and development Company pension Company events Opportunity to help shape a new service from day one
