CNC Setter/Operator (Weekend Days) Wigston (LE18) Friday – Sunday 05:45 – 17:45 £19.63p/hr (£15.70p/hr during initial training) Urgent: Full Time We are looking for experienced CNC setter/operators who are looking to expand their skills, learn new machines and can commit to a rotating shift within a busy and aerospace company in Wigston.

What you will be doing Initially you will be operating machinery, to produce high end intricate aerospace components.
You will be trained how to set these specific CNC machines You will be responsible for using micrometers to ensure the component matches the drawing.
Working to both quality & production targets.
Initial Training Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern.
While training you will be on £15.70 then once on the weekend pattern moved up to £19.63.
To be considered Even though you will be trained on new CNC machinery, we are only looking for people with a strong background as a setter/operator on Milling or Turning machines , someone with experience working on metal components.
Able to accurately use micrometers, and be flexible enough to work the rotating shift pattern.
In return – this role offers you: £19.63 p/hour (£15.70 p/hour when training on days).
36 hours paid per week (average working out annual).
Massive overtime potential.
