About the role

Company Description

Invalleon is a UK based hospitality and franchise group. We acquire, operate and grow quick service and fast casual restaurants, running them on strong systems and strong teams to deliver consistent results at site level. We are the largest UK franchisee of itsu, the fresh Asian inspired food brand, and we are growing our estate. We invest in our managers with proper training, clear standards and a route to progress as we open new sites.

Role Description

Full time, on site, based in Oxford. The General Manager runs the day to day operations of an itsu restaurant.

You will lead the team, covering recruitment, scheduling, training and performance, so that service standards and operating procedures are met on every shift. You will own the financial performance of the site, including sales targets, labour and food cost control, and profit. You will keep the shop compliant with health, safety and food hygiene regulations at all times.

You will monitor guest feedback, deal with service issues quickly, and run local activity to grow sales and repeat custom. You will roll out brand and group systems as they are introduced, and develop your Kitchen Managers and supervisors into the next generation of leaders.

Qualifications

  1. You have worked in quick service or fast casual restaurants, as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Shift Supervisor. If you are a strong second in command ready to step up to your first General Manager role, we want to hear from you.
  2. You understand the numbers: sales, labour, food cost and waste, and how your decisions move them.
  3. You can recruit, train and hold a team to standard, and you deal with problems rather than leaving them for the next shift.
  4. You are comfortable with rotas, stock systems and reporting tools.
  5. You know what good food safety and health and safety look like and you do not cut corners on either.
  6. Formal hospitality qualifications are welcome but not required. What counts is what you have run and what you delivered.
