HGV Class 1 Drivers Permanent Positions

Class 1 Driver Location : Bathgate Shift : 4on 4off, Days Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Use a curtain sider trailer to take on a diverse range of tasks, including palletised deliveries/trunks, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated. Competitive Salary : £17.42ph PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour. Shift Hours : 12:30hrs start, on a 4on 4off rota basis. Overtime : Paid at an hourly rate of £17.42ph Training : DCPC training during your employment*, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
