Site Manager – Planned Maintenance (SHDF Project)

A leading Tier 1 property services contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their Planned Maintenance division in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) project, delivering energy efficiency upgrades across scattered properties under a long-term contract with L&Q.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of planned maintenance works across multiple occupied residential properties. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage site operations across scattered social housing properties
* Oversee subcontractors and direct labour
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
* Coordinate works in occupied homes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
* Monitor programme schedules and drive progress on site
* Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks
* Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within planned maintenance or social housing
* Experience working on SHDF or retrofit/energy efficiency projects (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance regulations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams across dispersed locations
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications required
