Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hill & Hill Recruitment are seeking a Commercial Manager to work with one of our Housing Association clients based in Kent. You will play a central role in driving the commercial management of long-term term alliance contracts, overseeing responsive repairs, void works, compliance programmes, and planned maintenance for social housing projects. Working closely with internal operations and safety teams, you will ensure robust cost control, strategic commercial governance, and optimal value delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee commercial management and governance for long-term social housing maintenance and repairs contracts. * Manage financial models, rate reviews, benchmark analyses, and cost-trend tracking. * Drive cost control, value optimisation, and quality assurance across property maintenance portfolios. * Ensure subcontractor compliance and alignment with overall financial and strategic targets. * Collaborate with operational and safety managers to manage project risks prior to commencement. Your Experience: * Demonstrable commercial management experience within property repairs, maintenance, or planned works. * Strong understanding of social housing maintenance models and framework/alliance contracts. * Solid knowledge of target-cost or open-book contract structures. * Excellent data analysis skills with a track record of commercial decision-making. * Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
