Network Engineer

Network Engineer Take ownership of critical communication networks where your expertise ensures the stability and security of high-value systems. Extensive experience in network design and management across Cisco and Fortinet technologies. Eligibility to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting security clearance. Salary and rewards Competitive salary plus a company car allowance. Key responsibilities Act as a technical authority for the design, build, and commissioning of internal and customer networks. Maintain the integrity of network security through proactive management of firewalls and encryption protocols. Resolve complex routing and acceleration issues within long-latency network environments. Support the full lifecycle of bespoke products by producing detailed technical documentation and schematics. Skills and background Advanced knowledge of Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Strong proficiency with Cisco Routers and Switches using IOS-XE. Practical experience with BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, and VPN technologies. Familiarity with Linux environments and network monitoring tools. Proven ability to troubleshoot VoIP QoS and compression processes. Excellent communication skills for liaising with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
