Job Title: Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant Location: Gateshead Start Date: Immediate Start / September 2026 Salary: £90 - £110 per day Do you have experience supporting children and young people with hearing impairments? These schools are committed to providing inclusive learning environments where children and young people are supported academically, socially and emotionally to achieve success within education. The schools are looking to appoint Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistants on a long-term basis, with both immediate and September 2026 starts available. The successful Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across Key Stage 1 / KS1 through to Key Stage 4 / KS4, providing one-to-one catch-up sessions and tailored classroom support for children with hearing impairments. The role will require a proactive approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
