- £50,000 Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wood CNC Machinist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality wood components to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines Program and adjust CNC machines (e.g.
using CAD/CAM software) Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists Select appropriate materials and tooling for each job Monitor machine performance and ensure quality output Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements: Proven experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking environment Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming Ability to read and understand technical drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good problem-solving skills Understanding of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part xwzovoh of a team Desirable Skills: Experience with edge banders, beam saws, or other woodworking machinery Knowledge of different wood types and materials Previous experience in furniture, joinery, or manufacturing industries What We Offer: Competitive salary Ongoing training and development opportunities Modern workshop and equipment Supportive team environment
