Handyman

Location: St Neots, CambridgeshireHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pmPay: £18–£20 per hourStart Date: ASAP

REED is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established school in the St Neots area to recruit a Full-Time Handyman to join their site and facilities team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical, reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for staff and students.

The Role:

• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
• Responding to day-to-day maintenance issues as they arise
• Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and well maintained
• Assisting with room setups, moving furniture, and ad-hoc site duties
• Working closely with the site manager and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a handyman, caretaker, or maintenance role
• Good all-round practical and DIY skills
• Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
• Happy working in a school environment
