Estimator – North London | Residential & Commercial Projects I am currently recruiting for an Estimator to join a growing construction and development contractor in North London. This contractor is experiencing significant growth, with turnover increasing from £10m to £20m over the next 2–3 years. They deliver high-quality schemes across residential and commercial sectors, with a strong focus on prime London developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to work across a mix of high-end residential, mixed-use developments, and commercial fit-out projects. The Role – Estimator As an Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, supporting multiple projects from early-stage feasibility through to tender submission. Key Responsibilities: Preparing detailed cost estimates, cost plans and tender submissions Managing take-offs, pricing and bid documentation Supporting PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreements) Working on Design & Build (D&B) tenders Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Supporting project teams with budgeting and feasibility assessments Requirements – Estimator Proven experience as an Estimator / Construction Estimator Background working for a main contractor or developer Experience pricing residential, mixed-use or commercial fit-out projects Strong knowledge of construction costs and London market rates Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously Experience in Design & Build (D&B) environments (desirable) Salary & Package Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (DOE) Travel allowance Private healthcare Bonus 28 days holiday Free parking onsite Long-term progression opportunities Exposure to both construction and development projects Strong pipeline of secured work across London If you are an Estimator who is interested in joining a high-end construction contractor and working on some impressive projects, apply now, or contact Sam Patuzzo at Samuel James directly for a confidential discussion
