The Opportunity Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will join an established commercial team supporting the successful delivery of complex design & build projects under NEC Conditions of Contract.

You will play a key role in the commercial management of water, utilities, and civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities Commercial management of AMP8 water infrastructure projects Cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting Value engineering and margin improvement Subcontract procurement and contract administration Drafting subcontract agreements and professional services contracts NEC contract management and change control WIP management and cash flow optimisation Client and stakeholder relationship management Agreement of final accounts Supporting bids, tenders, and PQQ submissions Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or water sectors Strong knowledge of NEC Conditions of Contract Experience working for a main contractor or Tier One contractor Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ambitious and career-focused with a desire to progress into a Managing Quantity Surveyor role Whats On Offer Hybrid working typically 12 days per week in the office Long-term secured AMP8 project pipeline Clear progression path to Managing Quantity Surveyor within 2 years Opportunity to work on major UK water and utilities infrastructure projects Stable and growing sector with significant investment over the next 5 years Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Supportive and collaborative commercial team environment Apply Now If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to progress your career within a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, apply today to discuss this opportunity further.
