What You Will Be Doing As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician you will be responsible for: Performing major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards Carrying out inspections, routine maintenance and preventative servicing as an experienced HGV Mechanic Diagnosing faults and planning repairs using diagnostic tools and schematics Completing job cards, service records and warranty paperwork accurately Providing emergency roadside support when called out Maintaining workshop cleanliness, stock and safety standards Pay and Benefits £19.50 per hour Overtime paid at 1.5x basic hourly rate Additional call-out opportunities available 27 days holiday including Bank Holidays plus an extra day for your birthday Ongoing training and career development Pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme What You Will Need To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician you will need: Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician within a commercial vehicle environment Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Ability to identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes Reliable problem solver with a strong team ethic How to Apply If you are an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician based in or around Grantham, apply using the button below or call James on (phone number removed), Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
