Assistant Quantity Surveyor £30,000 - £40,000 + Package Central London gap constructions are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established contractor specialising in high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment projects within the commercial sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to develop their career with one of the leading names in the interiors space. Performance Objectives: You'll work closely with the commercial team to support the delivery of fit-out projects valued between £3m and £20m. This position offers excellent exposure to fast-paced, technically interesting schemes with the backing of a supportive and experienced team. Assist in preparing valuations, cost reports, and subcontractor packages Support with contract administration and change management Track and monitor project costs to ensure accurate forecasting Collaborate with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support smooth commercial delivery Ensure adherence to commercial processes throughout the project lifecyclePerson Specification: HND or degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related field 1-3 years of experience in a commercial role (ideally within interiors or fit-out) Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills Proactive communicator who enjoys working in a team Enthusiastic and eager to progress within a dynamic environmentApply Please apply through our website or get in touch with James at gap construction.
