Trainee Estimator

Pyramid8 are recruiting for a bespoke fit-out company based in Dewsbury, delivering high-quality, tailor-made interiors across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Estimator who is keen to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within the construction and fit-out industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career or looking to move into estimating, with full training and support provided. The Role Working alongside experienced estimators and the wider commercial team, you will be trained to: * Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for bespoke fit-out projects * Read and understand drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing * Help maintain accurate cost data and records * Support the estimating team from enquiry through to tender submission The Ideal Candidate * Keen to learn and develop a career in estimating or construction * Good numeracy and IT skills (Excel experience an advantage) * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach * Willingness to ask questions and learn from others * Good communication and organisational skills * Previous construction or office experience is beneficial but not essential What We Offer * Full training and mentoring from experienced professionals * Clear career progression within a growing company * Competitive trainee salary * Friendly, supportive working environment * Opportunity to work on high-quality, bespoke projects
