As a Sales Assistant based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, youll be responsible for:
Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending

Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers including building sites, business and private residences

Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch

This is a full time permanent xwzovoh role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 08.00am - 5.00pm and every other Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm.
And heres what wed like you to have:
A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required

Prior industry experience would be advantageous

Previous Face to Face customer service/sales experience is essential

Prior warehouse experience would be ideal

Willingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse role

Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic
