About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious luxury hotel and resort set within a stunning countryside estate in Hertfordshire.
This role is suited to a passionate chef looking to develop within a high-quality, professional kitchen environment. The property is known for its diverse dining offering, high standards, and focus on seasonal, ingredient-led cooking.
Working as part of a skilled brigade, you will take ownership of your section and contribute to delivering consistently high-quality dishes across multiple dining outlets.
Key Responsibilities Run a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard
Work closely with Sous and Head Chefs to maintain quality and consistency
Ensure excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards are upheld
Assist with stock control, rotation, and minimising waste
Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
Maintain organisation and efficiency during busy service periods
Uphold the standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment
Ideal Candidate Profile Current or recent experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie
Background in hotels, resorts, or high-quality restaurant environments preferred
Experience with modern British or European cuisine beneficial
Strong technical ability with attention to detail and consistency
Comfortable working across different kitchen sections if required
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
Passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and quality cooking
