MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Trimdon area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
Assembly - Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector
Fitting nuts, washers and bolts
Use of glue guns
Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces
Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures
Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process
Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines
Use of different hand and power tools
Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required
Strict adherence to health and safety standards
Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed
The Person:
Familiar with hand tools
Must have excellent attention to detail
Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to follow instructions and work to quality xwzovoh standards
Physically fit as some products are heavy
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
