JWR is delighted to be working with a well-established luxury coastal hotel in Cornwall, seeking a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join its talented kitchen brigade.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven chef to develop within a quality-led hotel kitchen, working with fresh seasonal produce in a busy and rewarding environment. Set within one of Cornwall's most iconic coastal destinations, this role offers the chance to be part of a professional and supportive brigade delivering consistently high standards across both restaurant and event dining.

The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, taking responsibility for your section and supporting the wider brigade in delivering high-quality food across all service periods.
You will:
Run your section with confidence and consistency during service
Prepare and present high-quality dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients
Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Support the Senior Sous and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Assist with stock control, prep and ordering within your section
Ensure consistency, quality and presentation across every plate
Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive team culture
Maintain high standards across restaurant, lounge and event service
About You
The successful candidate will be a reliable and enthusiastic chef with a passion for quality ingredients, strong standards and continuous development.
You will have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen
A passion for fresh, seasonal food and classic cooking
Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
A calm and consistent approach during busy services
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
