About the Opportunity A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic DT Teacher .

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced DT Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced Design & Technology department.

The Role As a DT Teacher , you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5 depending on your specialism.

This DT Teacher role includes:

Planning and delivering high-quality Design & Technology lessons
Teaching across specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics or Food Technology
Promoting creativity, problem-solving and technical skills
Preparing students for GCSE and/or A-Level DT courses
Ensuring a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a DT Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
Has a degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Has strong subject knowledge in one or more DT specialisms
Is passionate about practical and creative education
Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
