SEND Tribunal & Complaints OfficerLocation: LiverpoolRate: £400 per dayWorking Pattern: Full-time | Hybrid – 2 days on site required Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Tribunal & Complaints Officer to join a Local Authority SEND service in Liverpool. The council is seeking an experienced specialist to provide additional short-term capacity within the SEND service, with a key focus on reducing the existing backlog of SEND complaints and Tribunal cases.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in SEND complaints, mediation and Tribunal processes who can quickly pick up complex cases and work independently to achieve timely resolutions.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and progress a caseload of SEND complaints and Tribunal cases.
• Work proactively to reduce the existing backlog and ensure cases progress within required timescales.
• Investigate and respond to complex SEND complaints.
• Coordinate and manage SEND Tribunal activity, ensuring cases are appropriately prepared and progressed.
• Review case records, evidence and relevant documentation to inform decisions and responses.
• Liaise with parents, carers, schools, legal representatives and other professionals.
