Labourer - Fabrication & Manufacturing Location: Billingham Immediate Start | Ongoing Work | Overtime Available We are currently recruiting for a Labourer to join a busy fabrication and manufacturing site in Billingham. Shift Pattern & Pay Rates This role operates on a 3-shift rotating pattern: * 6:00am - 2:00pm: £15.71 per hour * 2:00pm - 10:00pm: £16.93 per hour * 10:00pm - 6:00am: £17.60 per hour (includes shift premium) Key Responsibilities: * Dressing and finishing metal components to the required quality standards * Grinding, fettling, and smoothing metal castings * Safely operating hand and power tools * Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality specifications * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment * Following health and safety procedures at all times Requirements: * Previous experience in metal dressing, fettling, grinding, or a similar manufacturing role * Experience within a heavy engineering, fabrication, or foundry environment is desirable * Ability to work a rotating 3-shift pattern (days, afternoons, and nights) * Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work * Reliable, hardworking, and available to start immediately What's on Offer: * Immediate start * Ongoing, full-time work * Overtime opportunities available * Competitive shift premiums * Potential for permanent employment for the right candidate * Supportive team environment within a well-established manufacturing business If you're an experienced labourer looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
