Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor (LCV & HGV) Location: Bicester Salary: Up to £31,000 basic, with bonus OTE up to £34,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Hours: 44.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on rotating day shifts, plus alternate Saturday mornings Benefits: Manufacturer training, 30 days holiday, pension, EV salary sacrifice scheme, referral bonus, staff discounts, free parking, uniform, wellbeing support   ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle parts department based in Bicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established automotive operation supporting both LCV and HGV aftersales, working closely with workshop technicians and retail customers.   This is a varied parts role where you will be responsible for identifying, ordering, progressing, and supplying parts and sundries to ensure customer vehicles are repaired efficiently and on time. You will be joining a proactive and knowledgeable team, with ongoing manufacturer training provided to support your development. The successful candidate will have experience within a commercial vehicle, automotive, truck, van, or parts environment, along with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in delivering a first-class service to internal and external customers.   Key Responsibilities - Identify and source correct parts for commercial vehicle repairs and customer requirements - Support technicians by ensuring parts are ordered, tracked, and supplied efficiently - Deal with retail customers face to face and over the telephone - Monitor parts orders and provide regular updates where required - Maintain accurate records and support the smooth running of the parts department - Work closely with workshop and service teams to help minimise vehicle downtime - Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety requirements   Candidate Requirements - Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, ideally within commercial vehicles, LCV, HGV, dealership, or motor trade environment - Strong technical understanding or proven parts experience - Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams - Organised approach with the ability to work to deadlines - Confident problem solver with a proactive attitude - Team-focused, flexible, and willing to support a busy department - Genuine interest in commercial vehicles and career progression   Working Hours 44.5 hours per week, averaged over the year. Monday to Friday on rotating shifts: - 7:00am - 4:00pm - 8:00am - 5:00pm - 9:00am - 6:00pm Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
