Japanese Place is a fast-moving Japanese hot food restaurant located in the heart of Londons business district, just steps from the Gherkin. We serve affordable, freshly cooked lunch dishes - famous for our Chicken Katsu Curry, Teriyaki Specials and bowls of Ramen Noodle Soup.

Unlike many grab-and-go spots, all our food is cooked to order. Our close-knit team takes pride in delivering premium quality at speed, keeping service efficient while never compromising on flavour.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Grill Chef to join our friendly Back of House team. You will support the smooth running of our kitchen during the busy lunchtime trade - preparing ingredients, working on the grill and frying section, assembling dishes, keeping everything clean and ensuring we deliver great food fast.

This is a permanent, full-time role from 8am until 4pm with no evening or weekend shifts. Its an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a small, supportive team and wants to grow with us.

What Youll Do
Assist with food preparation and plating to company standards Be responsible for grilling and frying Follow food hygiene and safety procedures Keep your workstation clean, organised and ready for service Support your teammates during peak service hours Monitor stock levels and report when supplies are low Help with cleaning routines and kitchen close-down

What Were Looking For

Previous kitchen experience No formal qualifications required - training provided Team player with strong communication skills Reliable, quick and able to keep xwzovoh attention to detail under pressure Positive attitude and willingness to learn
