Senior Solicitor/Associate - Insurance Disputes & Regulation

We are working with a top-tier Scottish law firm who are seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join their Insurance Litigation team within their Edinburgh office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join an esteemed Litigation & Regulatory practice, working on high-value, cross border disputes across civil and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury defence, shipping & maritime law, and insurance coverage disputes. The candidate will advise across maritime and transport law claims, insurance coverage disputes, and personal injury defence.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 3-5 PQE;
• Strong background in personal injury defence litigation and insurance claims;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Strong academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
