Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in North Warwickshire for a Solicitor with experience in general local government law or planning law. Job Title: Solicitor (General / Planning)

Location: North Warwickshire (Hybrid Working)

Contract: 5 Months (with potential to extend)

Hours: Full Time

Rate: £50–£55 per hour (Umbrella, DOE)

PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.50 - £48.89 per hour

Key Responsibilities as a Solicitor:

• Provide legal advice across a broad spectrum of local government matters, including planning, procurement, housing, data protection, and freedom of information
• Manage and conduct criminal litigation, including preparing cases and representing the Council in the Magistrates’ Court
• Handle xwzovoh civil litigation matters, including progressing cases in the County Court and High Court
• Offer legal guidance on licensing matters, including those under the Licensing Act 2003
