Assistant Facilities Manager – Facilities ManagementLocation: Epsom, Surrey
Temp to Perm• Salary: £30,000

- £37,000• Working days: Monday – Friday:• Working hours: 9am – 5:30pm (Early finish on Fridays (4:00 PM)• Annual discretionary bonus• Flexible/hybrid working options – Up to 2/3 days working from home (although frequently you will be on site visits) (After 6 month probation)• 20 days holiday• Professional fees covered (for related courses to expend career knowledge)A RICS-accredited commercial property management company is hiring an Assistant Facilities Manager to help oversee a UK-wide portfolio of over 6.5 million sq ft, including offices, retail parks, warehouses, and mixed-use developments.
You'll support Senior Facilities and Property Managers with maintenance, contractor coordination, inspections, and helpdesk tasks.
Based at the Epsom Head Office, you'll work alongside teams in property management, accounting, and office support.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company with ambitious plans.Key Responsibilities• Support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the property portfolio• Coordinate statutory and routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections• Maintain Health & Safety compliance across the portfolio• Manage contractors and supplier procurement in line with Safe Contractor standards• Conduct Vacant Property Inspections in line with insurance requirements• Perform regular site inspections and meter readings using an Inspection App• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and other relevant legislation• Assist with invoice approvals and service charge budget administration• Respond to maintenance requests and tenant/contractor queries via the FM helpdesk• Monitor tenant compliance with lease obligations• Support xwzovoh the delivery of common services to properties and tenants• Manage access arrangements as requested by clients• Assist with ISO accreditation compliance• Carry out other ad hoc duties as requiredEssential Skills & Experience:• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Facilities Management within commercial property• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Excellent written and verbal communication• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, and statutory compliance• Experience using CAFM software• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleDesirable:• NEBOSH certification (preferred but not essential)
