Biology Lecturer

• Location: West London
• Job Type: Part-time (16 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday)
• Salary: £30-£40 per hour

We are seeking a Biology Lecturer to deliver engaging and informative lessons in Level 3 Applied Science and Level 2 Gateway Applied Science. This role is ideal for someone passionate about biology and education, looking to impact students' lives positively.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and deliver lectures and coursework in Level 3 Applied Science and Level 2 Gateway Applied Science.
• Engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and update curriculum and supporting materials.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Biology or a closely related field.
• Previous teaching experience in biology or applied sciences at a comparable level.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and requirements for Level 3 and Level 2 Applied Science courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Proficient in using educational technology and online teaching tools.
