Overview of the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Administrator to join a high-performing property team within a forward-thinking professional services environment. This position plays a central role in supporting the conveyancing lifecycle, helping ensure transactions progress accurately and without delay. It’s ideally suited to someone who enjoys structure, pace, and being integral to a team’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent administrative support to fee earners within a busy conveyancing function
- Act as an initial point of contact for incoming client enquiries, maintaining a professional and responsive approach
- Coordinate file opening processes, including preparing instruction documentation and maintaining accurate internal records
- Handle routine communications via telephone and email, ensuring all necessary details are captured correctly
- Assist with compliance-related tasks, including due diligence checks in line with regulatory requirements
- Support the preparation and handling of documentation linked to residential property transactions
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery, and internal process adherence
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks
- Confident using IT systems and able to learn new platforms quickly
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support wider team objectives
- An interest in developing within a legal or property-focused environment (prior conveyancing exposure beneficial but not essential)
