Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support & 1:1 Provision

Location: Small rural primary school near Grimsby

Additional Travel: Daily transport to/from a SEMH provision

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Our small, friendly rural primary school just outside of Grimsby is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide consistent 1:1 support for two children with significant social, emotional and behavioural needs.

This is a rewarding role where you will genuinely change outcomes for children who need a trusted adult to help them feel safe, regulated and successful.

About the Role

Your day will involve two key responsibilities:

  • Daily Travel & 1:1 Support for a Year 2 Child
  • Support Within a year 1 classroom

You will be great in this role is you are

  • Resilient, calm, and confident when supporting behaviours that challenge
  • Experienced working with children with SEMH needs
  • Able to build trust and strong relationships through consistency and empathy
  • Adaptable and able to remain professional in emotionally demanding situations
  • Committed to safeguarding xwzovoh and the wellbeing of vulnerable pupils
