We’re supporting a major UK organisation with the appointment of an Interim Project Manager to lead a supplier mobilisation and transition project within their commercial / revenue function.
This is a standalone delivery role where you’ll take ownership of a structured mobilisation programme involving the change of property / tenancy management supplier across a large station estate, alongside supporting internal changes to how parts of the service are delivered.
The project is approved, ready to start, and requires a confident PM who can bring structure, manage stakeholders, and keep delivery on track.
The Role
- Lead mobilisation of a new property / tenancy management supplier
- Manage handover between outgoing and incoming vendors
- Build and manage detailed project plans
- Coordinate internal SMEs and commercial stakeholders
- Set up KPIs, reporting and delivery milestones
- Support internal team / structure changes linked to the new contract
- Act as a standalone Project Manager driving delivery end-to-end
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the revenue / commercial team
This is a mobilisation / transition project with defined deliverables, so a structured / waterfall approach is expected.
What they’re looking for
- Around 3–4 years Project Management experience
- Able to run projects independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with suppliers / vendors / contracts
- Comfortable building plans from scratch
- Confident, organised, and delivery-focused
Experience in rail, transport, property, FM, retail, supply chain or commercial environments is helpful but not essential.
Personality is key - they need someone who can keep people aligned, communicate clearly, and get things done.
Details
- 9-month contract
- Outside IR35
- £350 per day
- Hybrid working (Monument, London – 1–2 days per week)
- Limited travel required
- ASAP start
- Fast interview process
If you’re a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys mobilisation, transition, and stakeholder-heavy projects, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of a defined programme with a major transport client. xwzovoh
