We are proud to be working with a highly regarded law firm in Birmingham who are seeking an experienced and motivated Employment Solicitor to join their expanding Employment Law team.

The Role:

As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, providing both advisory and contentious support to a diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is confident handling their own matters and delivering practical, client-focused legal advice within a supportive and ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a mixed caseload of claimant and respondent employment law matters
• Providing clear, commercial and pragmatic employment law advice to clients
• Drafting claims, responses, settlement agreements, and advisory documents
• Advising on matters including disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

• 2+ years PQE with experience in employment law
• Experience handling both advisory and contentious employment matters
• Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
• Commercial awareness with a client-focused approach
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
