The Job:

Responsible for driving value and aligning procurement activities with the company’s strategic objectives. The role will involve purchasing a variety of indirect products and services.

• Ownership and management of Capital Expenditure and subcontract category.
• Purchasing indirect products, services and contracts in line with the company's requirements and ensuring measurable commercial and operational outcomes
• Building and developing strong supplier relationships
• Monitoring supplier data to ensure performance levels are within agreed SLAs
• Carrying out supplier visits and audits
• Implementing and embedding procurement improvements
• Engaging with stakeholders, driving budget compliance and develop tender specifications

Required experience:

• At least 6 years' experience in a Senior Buyer role or a Purchasing Manager level xwzovoh role with high spend responsibility
• At least 5 years' experience purchasing CAPEX/subcontract services
• Proven solid negotiation skills
• Experience within manufacturing purchasing is an advantage.
• CIPS qualification
