Road Freight Operator

Managing the end-to-end operational process, including booking transport, negotiating rates with hauliers, and selecting appropriate vehicles. Liaising effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries. Candidate Requirements Proven experience (2+ years) in a Road Freight Operator, Planner, or similar operational role within the logistics/freight forwarding industry. In-depth knowledge of UK and/or European road freight regulations, geography, and transport operations. Strong commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills with hauliers. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
