CNC Programmer (Hurco)

Job Title: CNC Programmer (Hurco) Location: Smethwick Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with Hurco control experience to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to work in a modern manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality and precision. Key Responsibilities: * Program, set, and operate CNC machines using Hurco controls * Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications * Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances * Optimise programs for efficiency and accuracy * Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting * Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator * Strong knowledge of Hurco controls (essential) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience working with a variety of materials * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: * Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining * Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary up to £37,000 per annum * Stable, full-time employment * Opportunities for training and development * Supportive team environment If you have the required Hurco experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.
