Salary: £26£28 per hour (circa £60,000£75,000+ depending on hours)
Type: Permanent
Overview We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of automation and conveyor systems across UK-based projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage teams effectively on-site while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead installation and assembly of automation systems including conveyors, control panels, and cable infrastructure
  • Supervise, guide and support site teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards
  • Manage site activities, materials, and resource allocation
  • Support testing, commissioning, and system handover
  • Act as the main on-site contact for clients and report progress to the Project Manager
  • Maintain full compliance with health and safety procedures, including toolbox talks and site documentation

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading electrical or automation installations (conveyors, ASRS or similar)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and project documentation
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • ECS or CSCS card (essential)
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK
