Salary: £53,000 - £71,000 per year
An ambitious and high-achieving Outstanding secondary school in Central London is seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Physics to lead and further develop a thriving Science faculty from September 2026.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the Physics provision across Key Stages 3 to 5
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and academic achievement
- Develop a rigorous and engaging curriculum
- Support and mentor colleagues within the department
- Contribute to the wider leadership of the Science faculty

The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong academic background in Physics or a related discipline
- Proven experience of delivering excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level
- Leadership experience or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
- A passion for Physics and the ability to inspire high levels of student engagement
- Strong organisational and communication skills
