Salary: £53,000 - £71,000 per year

An ambitious and high-achieving Outstanding secondary school in Central London is seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Physics to lead and further develop a thriving Science faculty from September 2026.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the Physics provision across Key Stages 3 to 5
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and academic achievement
• Develop a rigorous and engaging curriculum
• Support and mentor colleagues within the department
• Contribute to the wider leadership of the Science faculty

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong academic background in Physics or a related discipline
• Proven experience of delivering excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level
• Leadership experience or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
• A passion for Physics and the ability to inspire high levels of student engagement
• Strong organisational and communication skills
