Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Location: Kent (Field-Based) Salary: £36,000 Basic + Door-to-Door Pay + Bonus Hours: Monday to Friday On-Call: 1 in 4 Weekends (Paid) The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across Kent and surrounding areas. You will work independently across customer sites, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and repair. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer sites * Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Install and commission new equipment * Provide technical support and advice to customers * Complete service reports and documentation accurately * Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Skills & Experience * Electrical bias is essential, with strong mechanical knowledge * Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Service Engineer * Backgrounds considered include: * Industrial or commercial laundry equipment * Commercial equipment * White goods / domestic appliances * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Good communication and customer-facing skills * Full UK driving licence Package & Benefits * £36,000 basic salary + bonus * Door-to-door pay * Overtime paid at time and a half * Company vehicle (fully equipped) * 28 days holiday including bank holidays * Pension scheme * Private healthcare * Monday to Friday working week * Paid 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota Apply Now If you are a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for a new opportunity in Kent with excellent earning potential and work–life balance, apply today to find out more.
