London Construction Contractor Ltd (LCC) has an excellent opportunity for an Architect or Architectural Assistant to join our team in London.

This is a hands-on role supporting the project team in delivering comprehensive drawing packages across a wide range of schemes, including commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, and residential developments. You will be involved in projects from concept through to detailed design, working on both new-build and existing properties.

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and the confidence to translate ideas into practical, buildable drawings. You will need to manage multiple projects efficiently, liaise with contractors and consultants, and maintain high drafting standards across all stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation
• Develop and deliver design, tender, and construction packages using AutoCAD
• Assist with schematic layouts and detailed residential design plans
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors
• Attend site inspections and technical meetings
• Maintain accurate drawing records and issue control
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Uphold CAD standards across all project documentation

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum five years’ professional experience in architectural delivery
• Strong portfolio showcasing residential development work
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (essential), with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with UK planning and building control processes
• Part 2 or Part 3 qualified, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Confident communicator and team collaborator
• Organised and methodical, with sound project coordination skills
