About the role

CNC Programmer & Operator £35,000 - £45,000 | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator to join our workshop team, producing high-end bespoke joinery and cabinetry. This role suits someone with strong CNC programming skills, hands-on machine experience, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities * Program and operate CNC machinery (Biesse, Homag, and/or Holzher). * Create programs from technical drawings, CAD and DXF files. * Set up machines, tooling, and jigs. * Optimise machining processes to maximise efficiency and minimise waste. * Carry out quality checks and resolve programming or machining issues. * Work closely with production and bench joinery teams. * Maintain machinery and a safe, organised working environment. Requirements * Minimum 5 years' CNC programming and operating experience within joinery or furniture manufacturing. * Experience with Biesse, Homag, or Holzher machinery. * Proficient in CAD/CAM software and interpreting technical drawings. * Strong understanding of tooling, materials, feeds, and speeds. * High attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Experience with SolidWorks and SWOOD advantageous. * Background in high-end bespoke joinery, furniture, or cabinetry preferred. Selection Process Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid half-day practical assessment demonstrating CNC programming and operating skills.
