About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join a design engineering team supporting advanced products used in aerospace applications. This role will focus on delivering complex engineering projects from initial requirements through to production support, ensuring performance, cost, and schedule targets are achieved.
You will be responsible for leading technical project activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of engineered solutions into manufacturing and operational use.

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm

Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, defining scope, deliverables, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with programme cost, quality, and delivery commitments
- Manage technical scope, change control, and project risks to ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Programme Management
- Apply engineering principles to support design reviews, technical documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirements
- Support customer and supplier engagement, including technical discussions, progress updates, and resolution of engineering issues
Project Engineer
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in aerospace or a highly regulated xwzovoh engineering environment
- Experience with design for manufacture, and engineering validation activities preferred
- Strong project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
