Role: Primary SEND Teacher Location: Wythenshawe Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 PA Hours of Work: 8.15am-4pm Position Type: Permanent  Leader Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provider for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. About the role: This great opportunity is to work with pupils across KS1 and KS2 with SEND needs, delivering personalised learning that helps every child make meaningful progress academically, socially and emotionally. You will provide high-quality teaching within a nurturing and structured environment, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The role includes delivering a broad primary curriculum with a focus on phonics, reading, writing and maths, while embedding communication, emotional regulation and independence skills throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to individual needs and EHCP outcomes Teach a broad and balanced primary curriculum across KS1 and KS2 Support pupils’ communication, emotional regulation and independence Create a calm, safe and engaging classroom environment Assess, track and report on pupil progress Contribute to EHCP reviews, targets and personalised support plans Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals Use positive behaviour strategies to support engagement and wellbeing Prepare pupils for successful transition into KS3 Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 Strong understanding of SEND and differentiated teaching strategies Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues Calm, nurturing and resilient approach Excellent communication and organisational skills Specialist SEND or SEMH experience desirable Whats on Offer: Permanent position Competitive salary Term-time working pattern Ongoing CPD and specialist training Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunities for career progression This role is subject to safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
