Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical Estimator Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours Contract: Permanent Location: Mansfield An established engineering and manufacturing business operating within the UK Electrical infrastructure sector is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the team. Applications are welcomed from Junior, Mid‑Level, and Senior Electrical Estimators, with the role and salary tailored to experience. Electrical Estimator Responsibilities Produce accurate and timely quotations for engineered electrical products, ensuring compliance standards Manage and price customer enquiries ranging from smaller, straightforward quotations through to large, technically complex tenders Interpret customer specifications, electrical drawings, and schematics to prepare robust costings Compile estimates covering materials, labour, manufacturing processes, and subcontracted activities Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Planning, and Production to gather technical and commercial input Communicate with customers pre‑order to clarify requirements and resolve technical or commercial queries Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation in line with the management system  Electrical Estimator Experience Required Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (junior applicants with relevant technical or electrical backgrounds will be considered) Understanding of electrical principles, drawings, and infrastructure Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously and meet deadlines Confident communicator, comfortable liaising internally and externally Junior level: willingness to learn, strong attitude, and desire to progress within estimating Senior level: proven experience handling complex quotations and providing technical/commercial guidance  Interested?
